June 5, 2026 Wow I can't believe it is already June! So many mixed emotions as we start to wrap up this amazing school year! Looking Back Language Arts Did our final prefix (dis-) and did an affix review Finished writing our stories Added an “All about me” page and a title page Started coding our stories on ScratchJr. Math Talked about measuring ‘referents’ and how to make a good estimation if you don’t have a ruler Made some indigenous connections and what they may use as referents in their day to day life Science Observed our plants with no soil, no sun and no water. We had some surprises and had a great conversation and learning opportunity about chlorophyll and photosynthesis Did some more coding lessons on ScratchJr Looking ahead On Tuesday we will have a stuffy day!
